Actions Server Download


Download latest Actions Server at getactionsapp.com

Current latest version for Mac is 1.0.3
it requires Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard or higher

Current latest version for PC is 1.0.4
it requires Windows XP service pack 3, Vista service pack 2 or Windows 7


 
 

Actions Server Installation for Mac


1. Once downloaded Actions Server spot the ActionsServer.app file
(by default it will be in the download folder)

2. Move it in the Applications Folder

3. Double click to launch it

You will see the Actions Server Icon appearing in your taskbar, in the top right corner of the menu bar.
The Icon show your connection Status, Gray if disconnected, blue if connected.

Click on it to see the Menu and to open the Preferences.


 
 

Actions Server Installation for PC


Note: Actions Server requires Apple’s Bonjour service on your PC in order to automatically be discovered by Actions. If you have iTunes installed you already have this. To install Bonjour without installing iTunes you can download and install it from this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL999
 

Double click ActionServerSetup.msi.
The installation dialog box will appear.


1. At first screen press next

2. Second screen.
Installation path leave it unchanged unless you have specific needs.
Install for Everyone/Just me, as you prefer.
Press Next.

3. Third screen ready to install.
Press Next.

4. Fourth Screen.
The installation progress bar will start running. Then a Popup window from User Account Control will appear asking
“Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make change to this computer?” Press Yes.

5. Fifth screen.
Actions Server has been succesfully installed. Leave Checked Launch Actions Server, then press Close.

Actions Server will automatically Launch, then a Windows Security Alert popup will appear from Windows Firewall.
At the bottom of the dialog box check “Private Networks, such as my home or work network.
Uncheck instead the second option “public networks...”. Then Press Allow Access.

Now Actions Server is running.
You will see its icon in the taskbar in the lower-right corner of the screen. (or if you have a populated taskbar, you will see Actions Server icon by left clicking on the up triangle in the left area of the taskbar)
