The Text Snippet, or just Snippet (for friends) is an action that sends, or paste, a text string to the application you have currently in focus.
Below the ‘Label’ field you can find the Action Type selector.
Tap the arrows until you to get to the Snippet type.
Fill in there your texts, symbols, addresses, links, signatures, code snippets, and whatever snippet may be useful for you to have at reach.
To simplify the process of compiling your snippets, you are also able to copy the content of your computer’s clipboard.
Just select a text on your computer then copy it as usual.
On your iPad, tap the tiny down arrow at the bottom right corner of Snippet’s text field.
The text contained in the computer clipboard will be then transferred to your snippet. Boom!
Your touchpad will now send the text string to the application in focus on your computer.
