Safari webpages workflow

Brian Jan 14, 2014 10:27PM UTC

So, I tried this:

http://support.getactionsapp.com/customer/portal/articles/1041424-open-multiple-webpages-with-actions-using-automator

And it ALMOST worked. However, if Safari is not already open, the first time I tap the command, only Safari opens. If I tap it again, then the windows open. How do I add that pause?

Cheers
Brian

Hi Brian,

A good and easy workaround would be to use Flows. You can create a flow as follows:

1. Making sure that the magnet application is Safari, hit shortcut cmd+t (creates a new tab)
2. Shortcut cmd+l (focus address field in case it isn't already focused)
3. Snippet with the url follow but a return.

Granted that this is a workaround since the ideal behaviour would be that the URL simply work, wether or not Safari is active.
